Sally came to New Zealand in 2007.  She earned her diploma in Physiotherapy in Aberdeen, Scotland, in 1989.  She also has a post graduate certificate in Neurological Physiotherapy (2001) and is a Bobath trained therapist.  Sally has a specialist interest in assessment and treatment of clients with neurological conditions and she uses a holistic approach to therapy.  Sally enjoys problem solving with clients to work towards their own individual goals.

Rachel Yates – Neurological Physiotherapist

Rachel has a wide range of experience working with a range of neurological, orthopaedic and age-related conditions including stroke, brain injury, other neurological and neuromuscular conditions; as well as general older adults health, falls prevention and loss of function following injury or illness.

Rachel completed post-graduate study in neurorehabilitation in 2007 and is a member of the Physiotherapy New Zealand Neurology and Older Adult Special Interest Groups.

Amelia Petherick Physiotherapy

Amelia graduated from the University of Otago  BA Credit Physiotherapy in 2001 and with a Masters of Physiotherapy with distinction in 2013

She started work with the Canterbury DHB, then  moved to the UK where she became a senior physiotherapist in London. Since returning home she has specialised in neurorehabilitation and therapy. She lives in Blenheim and is now in private practice as a Physiotherapist.

On The Go Physio

Based in Christchurch, Jessie Snowdon is Senior Physiotherapist and Director of On the Go Physio , now based in the Arvida Good Friends Building, 42 Whiteleigh Ave., Christchurch.

She and her team deliver assessment and rehabilitation planning services for clients with the late effects of polio or recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease.

In partnership with Polio NZ, Jessie  opened the Polio NZ Christchurch Hub on the 5th November 2021, a 2 year pilot project to expand the range of support services for Polio NZ members in the Christchurch region

 

On the Go Physio also conduct clinics in other Sound Island centres, including Nelson, Invercargill and Dunedin so far.  They are also very experienced in delivering the LSVT course for Parkinson’s Disease.

On the Go Physio is a small but expanding team of physiotherapists with a passion for providing high quality therapy in a person’s own environment. On the Go Physio works with people with a range of neurological, orthopaedic and age related conditions including Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Head Injury, Stroke, elective and traumatic joint replacements, falls, respiratory conditions and general loss of function following illness or injury.
